WAAAAY back when we lived in NC the first time, we had the bestest friends! We spent every Saturday with them from the time we got to church in the morning until very late Saturday evening. Steve actually kicked off the friendship one day when Richelle and Jeremy were both out of town by asking me to lunch after church at what quickly became one of my favorite Eastern NC restaurants... Carolina Bagel.
Unfortunately, they weren't willing to wait here for us to come back, so when we left the first time, they went to San Diego, then retired to Maine. BRRRR!!! When they called to say that they were going to be around for a visit, we were super happy at the prospect of being able to catch up with them. We met them one evening for dinner and then crashed their breakfast the next morning at Carolina Bagel. Then like a booger that can't be flung, we followed them on their morning of shopping.
I'm not sure that they actually accomplished anything from their list, but we did have fun.
AND... we didn't get kicked out of anywhere. Good thing as that would have been a terrible example to set for my kids.
Makes me sad I haven't given him more quarters over the years to ride. He's almost too big to fit!
