My Arteest...

Abby has inherited a gift for art.  From where, I'm not sure.
My friend Lisa does these awesome paintings of animal on slates for people.
Abby thought that was a great idea and decided to incorporate that into her gift giving.
Uncle Steve had his dog Eddy before he and Aunt Carey got married.
Eddy was a wonderful little dog who adapted as Steve's family grew.  He handled the babies as they came along like a dog who had always had babies around.
Eddy died earlier this year and Abby thought that since their birthdays are so close together that she would frame a drawing of him for them.  Eddy was a great playmate and companion for Zachary and Lauren and his presence is sorely missed.

This is Abby's completed drawing of Eddy.
I know I'm her mom, so I'm supposed to be proud of her abilities, but didn't she do an excellent job at capturing, not just a dog, but Eddy?

Happy Birthday, Aunt Carey and Uncle Steve!

Thought I'd also add the drawing she did of our sweet Regal.
It amazes me how much it looks like him!
