Mommicked

Do you know what "mommicked" means?

If you haven't lived in Down East NC, it's doubtful that you do!

I learned it during my stint at Carteret General Hospital.  My time there was an education all it's own!

To be mommicked means to be bugged or hen-pecked, frazzled, worn out.

Well, this puppy isn't frazzled, but he certainly can be loved to the point of being bugged!

Poor thing can't close his eyes without one bitty Beaven or another wrapping him in a blanket.

He tolerates the loving very well all day long until about 8:30 which is the kids normal bedtime.

After that, he's so plumb wore out that he may give a little growl if you try to wake him up by kissing or hugging on him.

Such a good puppy, it's easy to forget that he's still a puppy until every once in a while he pulls a very uncoordinated move and falls.  Sure do love the little guy.
