For YEARS now (in fact as long as I have known her), the slogan surrounding my youngest daughter has been that she is "Tonka Tough." (By the way, that was another family that put the actual words to the feelings I had about her. I was also asked a few times if all of my kids were fearless like her.) You remember those heavy duty yellow trucks that little boys run through dirt and rocks and never any harm could come to them? Well, that's Amelia. Nothing slows down this girl. Not being smaller than everybody else, not being a girl, not numerous broken bones or the casts they accompany...
and although she cleans up into a right purty little thang,
That doesn't slow her down either.
Anybody know where I can find a pair of Tonka Tough church shoes?
