I admit it. My kids don't always have a proper grasp of the English language. When Abby was little, I worked really hard at helping her to sound like a little adult. Then I realized how quickly that would happen on its own and have relaxed with the other two. I don't want all of their little mis-pronunciations and misuse of words corrected. I want them to keep them for as long as we can!
Amelia was doing her schoolwork yesterday and in the course of her reading, came across the word third. This is what she had to say about rectifying third with how she normally says it...
"Third? Third? What's that? THREETH?"
LOVE that girl!
