A Hoot and a Half!

On Sunday morning we were introduced to a "Mexican Market" in Yuma.  It was very reminiscent of our trips to Chatachak in Bangkok, only on a much smaller scale and with a Mexican flair.  The Barbosa family wanted to treat the Beaven kids to a special treat they had discovered there to celebrate their birthdays.  Please forgive the quality of the photos, it was spur of the moment and I didn't have my regular camera with me.  We are going to have to go back here soon when we have more time to explore.  We were really wishing that we had known about this place when people were coming to Yuma to visit us.

You're like a hamster in a ball.... on water!

They quick usher out the kid whose time is up and put the next kid into a ball that is almost completely deflated.  They quick stuck a hose in the ball and filled it with air and off the kid goes!  It's hard to see, but this is Abby being put in the ball.

That face just about says it all.

It can be difficult figuring out how to walk without falling.

Took me 3 kids to get it right, but we finally have one with the moxie to give Jeremy a run for his money!

After having fun in the balls, we walked around and saw all the various items for sale.
Of course, my little animal lovers were drawn to these baby geese.

Quick trip to the bathroom for a handwashing and Abby was right back at the animal tent.
These sweet little baby bunnies will make someone (not my kids) a lovely Easter gift.

I'm rather certain she was talking him into squeezing into her pocket.

Unfortunately I missed out on the second round in the balls and a trip down the big inflatable slide.  We had a wedding to go to that afternoon and I needed to go home and start getting ready.  We will definitely have to take the kids back here soon and with the better camera.  ;)
