Merry Christmas!

Thanks to the late rising of the sun in AZ during the winter, the kids didn't wake up until after 7.  YAY!
Once they were awake and had a little snuggling, they were ready to go!

Marshall and his new ipod shuffle

LOVE the crazy eyes!

:D

More crazy eyes!

And that makes all 3 of them with crazy eyes!

The Beaven home decked out in it's Christmas finery, 2011.  Jeremy diagrams his Christmas lighting plan for ease of use and appearance, tweaking it ever so slightly to make it better each year.  Can't wait to see what he can do when we aren't moving every few years!

The Tree
By far the best value in Christmas trees that we've had since moving to AZ.

This is also the year that I finished the very last stocking!  Amelia's stocking was finished just in time to hang with the rest this year.  Wonder what project I'll find for myself next year?

Marshall's gift (a bb gun) from Uncle Joel and Uncle Jay got here a little late this year, but his reaction was hilarious.  Here is what I think was going through his mind:
"Wow!  A bb gun!"

"I can't believe what I'm seeing!  A BB GUN!  I'll shoot my eye out!"

"Nah!  I'll shoot YOUR eye out!"

He is quite serious about his new "toy".

I was able to get one of him smiling after I asked him to.
I suppose smiling and guns don't really go together, huh?

He told Jeremy later that if the Marines run out of guns, they can ask him and
he'll let them borrow his.  ;)
