All good things...

must come to an end, but I'm not sure why.  We had a fantastic time in Kho Phi Phi.  I have found my geographical soulmate and when all is said and done, this is where you'll be able to find me.  ;)

We spent the morning swimming at the beach and using up the last of Marshall's camera pictures.  Can you believe we saw sea cucumbers?  I did a report on those odd little things in 6th grade, never thinking that one day I'd be swimming with them.  When we were all dressed and ready to go, we headed back down to the beach to wait for our longtail ride back to the main depot in Kho Phi Phi.  We decided we'd torture Laura for the 2nd year in a row by making her take 1,000,001 pictures of us again.  She's turning into quite the photographer!

They had the nicest little cabanas where you could get Thai massages.
Jeremy and I took advantage of having a 13 year old babysitter in the family
and had a massage the day before we left during rest time.  It was fantastic!
For $9 USD for an hour long massage, it just can't be beat.  In fact, it left us

wondering why we didn't do it EVERY day!

Our beautiful home away from home!

The longtail took us over to the main port in Kho Phi Phi, which you can see is still tremendously beautiful, but much more busy.  We found some lunch on this side of the island before our ferry trip back to Krabi.

Not rubbished here
You have to wonder about the Thai/English dictionaries.
;)

Before hopping on the ferry, we grabbed a little dessert to go.
ROTI!!!

And yes, it appears as though she's cooking it on a big oil drum.
AND that large vat of orange stuff is pure fat.
But it is soooo good!

I had the mango one on the left.
The Nutella one on the right is stuffed full of banana.
This particular stand had so many flavors that I had never seen before that it was very hard to choose.
Laura had a really yummy lemon sugar one.
After I learn how to make green papaya salad, I'm going to have to figure this one out...

We had some time to kill in Krabi, so we exposed my debit card to fraud in a shady ATM (then had to call and cancel it!) and then stocked up on food for our 12 hour return trip to Bangkok.  I think we all were missing American fare!  We had our hearts set on a Subway that we thought was nearby, but wasn't.  So we consoled ourselves with Dunkin Donuts...

And cheese pizza!
Well, the rest of my family did!  I still am still chums with my gallbladder and it's gallstone,
so I figured the Roti I had earlier in the day was enough of a challenge for it, so I stuck with the
fruit you see in the bag Jeremy's holding while shopping for donuts.  ;)
I think I'll hold out and have it removed in the U.S., thank you very much!
