While Lorry and her family were here, we took advantage of our proximity to San Diego and scooted off for a few days of fun at Sea World and Lego Land. While we were able to attend all the shows we were looking forward to, they've altered the Shamu show due to the recent happenings in Orlando. There was very little contact with the trainers and all the cool tricks they would do while swimming with the whales was completely removed from the show. Shamu slipped from being our favorite show to our least favorite, but those whales are still pretty amazing!

You can see we were right up front for this show. Despite a temperature too chilly to be wet, we decided to take our chances and sit in the "Soak Zone".

The only water that got us was the stuff this whale SPIT at us. Unfortunately for Abby (who ironically is our ONLY germophobe) some of it wound up flying right into her laughing mouth! And all together we say....."ICK!!!"
Caleb enjoyed the shows if not the noise. :)

Yes, Bonnie, all your hard work down the tubes. That is, indeed, your husband eating a big cup of chocolate pudding for breakfast! ;) Other than this one incident, we took REALLY good care of him, I promise!
