More Christmas Celebrations...

Fresh or Machine made... These kids will take snow ANY way they can get it!

The day after Jeremy's work Christmas party, the base housing group brought a winter wonderland to the desert! They brought in a snow machine and made a hill with some straw bales. They provided the sleds that the kids could use. Of course, Amelia was just as happy to skip the sled line and slide down on her bum! We were absolutely blown away with the number of fun activities that were provided. The kids pretty much scattered and we saw them to feed them and would try to spot them to count them occasionally.

On top of all of this, there was a booth where they would take your picture and make it look like you were in the middle of snow covered mountains, an elf who had a stack of books and would read the kids any one they wanted, a sleigh that looked just like Santas all decorated and waiting for a photo-op...(We were too busy to do that!), a stand that had the yummiest kettle corn I've ever had and a few carnival style games that the kids had a blast playing and winning cool prizes. Needless to say, fun was had by all and we look forward to next years party!
