We were!
We had a 5.9 Earthquake on December 30th. We've had a few earthquakes since we've been here in the 3.0-3.9 range, but this one was definitely bigger. A lot of times by the time we figure out what it is, it's over. Not so this time. I alerted the kids to the fact that we were having one, so that they would stop playing and pay attention. Instead of just going away, it got stronger.... strong enough that I ushered them into a doorway and we "rode" it out. Jeremy's mom was here when it happened and we've convinced her that we arranged it for her enjoyment! (She just thought the kids were getting wild with thewii ) :)

We noticed these cracks in townhouses on base near us. Hopefully they weren't structural as they only filled them in and repainted.... Gotta love base housing!
