We woke up to rain last night... that we find quite refreshing and enjoyable!
All day has been mostly overcast with little patches of rain. This was one that we found funny.... It was only raining over our neighborhood. You could see the sunshine and blue sky just past the thunder boomer sitting right on top of our house! :)
What did that big angry cloud bring? HAIL!
I asked Marshall if he could sit at the table and write a few thank you notes to the people who gave/sent him birthday gifts. He said he was really very tired and needed a nap. I thought he was just trying to get out of writing and told him that was fine, he could lay down, but when he got up he would be writing those notes. He agreed and headed upstairs. I thought for sure he would be back down in 3 minutes ready to give in.
Nope.
He really needed a nap.
(Just in case you're worried that is NOT a dead shark lying next to him. It is however, one of the gifts he needs to write a thank you note for. A kid size shark body pillow. He loves it...and the fact that he finds it to be a bit scary adds to the fun!)
