It's a PARTAAAAY at zFun Factory!

One of the last fun days we had in Yuma was a party for Marshall's friend Natus.  The Fun Factory has just been reopened under a new name... zFun Factory.  ;)  The kids really enjoyed going there when they were open before, so we were thrilled to give it one more shot before leaving.  After filling their tummies with pizza and root beer, we headed outside to see what trouble we could make.
Take this picture, for example.  3/4 of the kids are just hanging out in the heat, waiting for their turn on the bumper boats.  Amelia, on the other hand, appears to be trying to plan her angle of attack.

That's right.  Girlfriends got it all... worked... out....

Blah Blah Safety Blahdidy Blah Blah
GO!

All you have to do is figure out to steer your boat, aim your water guns at your besties and avoid being hit.  Simultaneously.

Since she already had a plan in place, Amelia was quick to go on the offensive.

The Beaven 3 and some sibling payback.

Know what's more fun than that, though?
Attacking your host's DAD!
Look at the sheer joy on Amelia's face.

AND... the rest of them see Amelia's fun and hop in on the action.

Uh oh.  Don's cornered.
At this point, I'm feeling bad for his daughter Mabel who had this misfortune of choosing a target for a seatmate.

Ok, GUYS!  Mr. Don is CRYING NOW... Better leave him alone....
(Wait.  Is that an evil grin by one Ms. Mabel?  Perhaps she put the others up to this wearing down of her fathers spirit?!?)

Little bit wet, but lots of fun!

After the bumper boats, we headed over to the go karts.
See the misters?  It's Yuma's very own outdoor a/c.  It works quite well.  By the time the water gets down to where you are, the air is cool and refreshing and you don't even get wet.
These would be a disaster in NC.  More humidity anyone?
Marshall was big enough to drive himself!

Marshall and the Birthday Boy, Natus.
(Photo strategically taken to make it appear as though these two were in the lead.  They were the most cautious of the group, so they weren't exactly in the lead, but they definitely had lots of zFUN!)

NEXT UP:  Operation Make Don (who by the way, looks so blissfully unaware) Eat.  Our.  Dust.

Phew!  Her feet reach the pedals!

She's practicing for her learners permit.

Look at Don.  All that excitement and confidence.  Just a fun day driving around the track with his daughter.

DOH!  Till now.  Jeremy and Amelia take the lead.

And despite Don's determined face, that's where Jeremy stays.
I still say Mabel was behind it all...
If you beat down Daddy's spirit, by the time you get in the car, all it takes is one little question...
"Daddy, can we stop at Toys R Us?"

He's a broken man.  That new Easy Bake Oven is all yours, baby girl...
