Sweet Home... North Carolina??

It's official:  The future Casa de la Beaven

Amelia was just asking me some questions about what life is going to be like after we move.

A:  Mom, after we move to North Carolina, will we be closer to Christmas?
M:  We will be closer to Christmas because a few months will have gone by between now and then.
A:  No, I mean will we be closer to Christmas than Arizona?
M:  No, not really.  (this kid... she's always gotta be getting something over on someone!  I suppose I could have told her that we would be 3 hours closer to Christmas, but why feed that competitive edge?)

A:  Oh.  So it's just going to be like here, only it will rain more?

M:  Pretty much.  Instead of raining 2 or 3 times a year, it might rain every day in the summer or sometimes it will rain for days without stopping.
A:  Whaaat??? How will we go to the store?

What an adjustment these two little ones are going to have in regards to weather.  And... in regards to temperature!
