Marshall saw a poster for big brothers/big sisters today that says volunteer or donate today. With a horrified quiver to his voice he asked "Is that for parents to donate their kids?" When I finished laughing I explained the organization to him and assured him that I would NOT be donating him. ;)
The other day we were in the car and as usual, I was listening to talk radio. Rush Limbaugh was on and I hear Amelia's voice pop up from the back "He said a bad word!" Now, those of you who know our kids know that they don't really know any REAL bad words. The "S-word" is stupid, the "D-word" is dumb, the "F-word" is fat, you get the idea. So I'm rolling the conversation Rush was having back through my mind to try to figure out what it was that was said. Being unable to figure out what word she was talking about, I asked Abby and Marshall if they had heard any bad words. Marshall immediately knew what word she was referring to. He proclaimed..."They said the President, Obama." I chuckled and asked her if that was the offensive word and she said it indeed was. Funny little Republicans!
Marshall made this in Sabbath School a few weeks ago. The lesson they were learning about was forgiveness. This is a little trash can that they made. It says "FORGIVEN"
They were then given a sheet of paper and told to put on it something that someone had done to them. They could then decide whether or not to forgive the person who offended them and symbolically crumple it and put it in the forgiven trash can. This is Marshall's:

I had no idea that this rampant head butting was occurring, but everyone else in my house assures me that it is and Amelia looks guilty when questioned. The picture is hilarious because I can actually picture her doing just this... and looking just like it!
PS. Click on the picture of the trashcan. I don't know what freaky stuff happened in AppleLand, but that's some weird stuff! Anyone else see it?
