Lorry and I always remark that our kids (6 of them now!) are more like a geographically separated sibling group than cousins. They do a fabulous job of picking up wherever they left off the last time. They have somehow managed to grow up together, even if they can't see each other often. They all get along together just fine, but at different times, seek out specific members of the group....

Amelia LOVES Caleb and hangs on his every word. She saves a seat for him at mealtimes just so he can tell her all he knows about The Most Extreme Animals while she eats.
This was frequently what you would see of them as he teaches her and entertains himself at the same time! Whenever a visit with Caleb is over, all we hear for weeks is "Caleb says...."
Marshall delighted in his ability to make Sarah laugh and would do anything necessary to make it happen. You can tell she has two brothers of her own as she is not even close to intimidated by his up close and personal stare.
And she even tossed into the scrapple with quite an effective move of her own!
Abby, Noah and Sarah enjoyed playing on opposite sides of a screen door at Grandma's house.
Caleb loves his Legos! He was able to build this set in less time than it would have taken me to open the box.
Gotta love a girl who wears her feelings on her sleeve, don't ya? I sure do!!
