Thanksgiving in PA!

In keeping with my tradition of NOT taking pictures this trip, I have not a single photo from Thanksgiving.  ;)  I do have a few from Thanksgiving-ish time.

I'm not going to name any names, but somebody steals fruit at Potluck.
And is really cute at it.

 "What?  Wasn't me.
Can't you see?  I eat my fruit on a plate.
I think I saw Caleb over there.  Yeah.  Caleb did it."

2 doggies not supposed to be on the bed, but snuggling together anyway.
Shhhh... don't tell Daddy!  What happens at Lorry's, stays at Lorry's!

The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Lorry and I decided that we would go Stocking Stuffer shopping since Black Friday sounds like fun, except, well... it's Black Friday.  I asked Grandma if she'd like to have the kids for a sleepover Monday night so she could spend some extra time with them while I was shopping and she said yes.  So I packed them up on Monday night and shipped them out!  Imagine my surprise Tuesday morning when I woke up and saw all the white stuff on the ground.  I felt a little sad because i knew that they would be super excited and I was missing that, but I was also grateful that they have a Grandma who loves them enough to spend time with them.  I get to be there for so much of their lives that I feel kinda cheated when I miss something.  ;)  Thankfully Lorry was willing to drive me around since my comfort level with driving in snow is nonexistent!  I have driven in snow 2 times in the last 15 years and haven't even driven in rain for the last 4.  We had a fun morning at Christmas Tree Hill, Five Below, Bed Bath and Beyond, Justice and a little lunch at 5 guys.

Regal is not quite sure where everything went wrong, but Mr. Coldblooded is very certain that he does not appreciate whatever happened to the ground overnight.  Now open the door.  Get me my sweater.  And make me hot chocolate.

When Zachary and Lauren heard about the sleepover, they decided that it sounded like a good idea, so Grandma actually ended up with FIVE stowaways for the night.  Thankfully she had enough gloves for all of them.  They alternated between playing outside and coming in to warm up and were even able to build a snowman that was about a foot tall.  Granted, they were stealing snow from EVERYWHERE to get enough to make him, but they did it!

Don't you just love my square peg?  I sure do.  Her pleasure with that snow is not going to be hampered by any picture taking (or the fact that it's 3 Mile Island snow and radioactive!)
