Drill Team Fun!

Abby has participated in the Drill team every year we have been in Yuma.  This year, Marshall joined in on the fun as well.  He is still technically not old enough to be a Pathfinder (should be in the younger group, Adventurers), but when Sid asked if Marshall would like to be the Drill Guide, he jumped on the opportunity.  As drill guide, he asked the Drill Master for permission to take the field before the performance and permission to retire from the field afterwards.  If the team operated under voice command, that would fall under the Drill Guide's responsibilities as well.  As it is, they perform without any verbal prompts, so it was a perfect job for him.

He took his job (much like all else Pathfinder related) so seriously.  I love the sense of pride he gets from being a pathfinder and earning honors.  You would think each one was a little affirmation that he is a successful person.
