Cuz a West Coast party don't stop... right? Well, we think so and thanks to our friends, the Goodmans, 4/5 of our family enjoyed a might right fine weekend in Scottsdale at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa where they own a timeshare. (Jeremy was... SUPRISE... not here. He was on the East Coast enjoying a humidity filled break from our dry heat) The resort was absolutely beautiful and we had such a fun, relaxing time.
I took this photo of the inside of the timeshare, planning to share it with Jeremy. He saw exactly what I saw.... It reminded us of our home in NC. Everything... the color of the walls, the color of the carpet and tile... even the living room furniture.
The view however, was vastly different. Have to say though, both are beautiful!
This was the view from our room during one of those famous Arizona sunsets.... God is so good! What other reason could there be for such beauty than a gift to us?
Abby was sure to take advantage of the balcony seating for some high quality reading time.
This was the view from the front of our room, a kid friendly water park! The kids had a blast going up and down that slide all day long!This place thought of everything... and because the weather is so enjoyable, it's all outside... a lazy river, cabanas where they provide you with lots of water and fresh fruit to keep you going while you play, fireplaces complete with lazy hammocks, ping pong tables, poolside movies and smores and the most delicious breakfast buffet I've ever tasted. So good, in fact, that my dear son was still thinking about it a few days later when he informed me of how much he enjoyed it and wished I could cook like that. Oh Vey.... there's no pleasing some people! ;)
