We had our church's VBS program at the end of June.... I know, it's taken me a bit to post the pictures! It seemed as though all the children had a great time and we ended up with quite a few from the community as well as our normal group of kids. The theme was a cowboy ranch inspired motif with lots of singing, crafts, snacks and play. Jeremy led the station outside where he had lots of fun games for them to play that tied into the principle of the day. He kept the kids busy, and in line, Marine style! I had a group of kids that I was in charge of getting from station to station. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed getting to know some of the kids from our church with whom I don't normally get to socialize. I started the week with 5 kids and ended with 11! Amelia was the only one from my group that was my child, so i got to see lots of her and not a lot of the other two. Marshall would pass me in the hall and just give me a high five, which is quite independent for him.
All in all, the kids really seemed to have a blast and Marshall who has been taken to church since birth and never cared for it, now asks to go back to vbs...... here's to next year!
