Hi, my name is Caleb......

And I have two mommies.....

These are the words of my 8 year old nephew to two polite, yet alarmed people at a McDonald's playland. Needless to say, my sister and I were laughing so hard that our attempts to rectify our good names (ok, mine, this is after all a VERY small town) were feeble. I suppose for his almost 2 week visit here, it did SEEM as though he had two mommies. Lorry and her boys came to visit us for part of Jeremy's trip to Alaska. We had a great time and were able to do lots of touristy things. I'll post some pictures below. We went to the aquarium, a children's nature/science museum, visited Ft. Macon, went to a farm where we saw lots of cool animals and made butter, painted ceramics, visited an ice cream store, swam a lot, and just plain out enjoyed the company. My sister and I are very close and our kids behave like siblings. Usually Abby and Noah are two peas in a pod and Caleb and Marshall buddy up, but this past trip found them all willing to play with whoever. The kids loved being together and I am so happy that they are able to be so close despite their geographical distance. My sister and I were so tired by evening that at least one of us was usually trying unsuccessfully to stay awake by 9pm. We're so glad you came and love you guys tons!
