What fun Seaworld was! We went there for two consecutive days and saw just about everything they had to offer. We saw the Shamu show three times. It was very dramatic and Marshall's face was absolutely breathtaking when the first whale jumped out of the water. There were lots of other things going on, so he wasn't paying attention to the water, but was just awestruck at his first view of the whale out of the water. They start the show by thanking members of the military and their families in their "Salute to Heroes" and had them stand while the audience clapped. It was enough to put a lump in my throat and so very nice to know that this far after 9/11 that people still recognize and appreciate the sacrifices that our military members (and especially their kids) make. We started both days by going down to Discovery Cove and feeding the dolphins. They were very friendly and would come right up to you and let you pet them. It was hands down our favorite activity. We also saw the walrus and sea lion show twice, the cat and dog show three times, and the dolphin show once. The killer whale and dolphin underwater viewing areas were very cool. We were then able to wander around and see the other animal exhibits, like the sharks, manatees, polar bears, beluga whales, and penguins. Even the squirrels there were friendly. I actually saw one sit still while a woman touched it's back! We were also able to see the donkey from the Busch commercials a few years ago. We very much enjoyed our time there and would go back in a minute!
