We were getting ready for lunch today and like we do many days, the kids role play a restaurant. Abby will come to the table, take their orders, prepare their lunch and serve it. Today they added a new twist. The kids wanted to be "seated" at the table and relaxed on the sofa, waiting for the "hostess" to come get them.
When Abby called them to their table, Jeremy's "Apple", Amelia (you know... apples and trees...) wanted the play to take a bit of a alpha dog turn. She wanted them to pretend that there were other people who had been there waiting and when Marshall and Amelia were taken to their seats, everyone got upset because they were waiting longer.....
That's my girl... always happiest if she thinks she's getting one over on everyone else! ;)
