November 11

It's important to know your own limitations, right? Well, I figured there was really no way I'd be able to come up with a creative title for each day of our trip, so I decided just to use the date. ;)

November 11th is actually the day we got to Thailand. (This year, we had NO November 10th, so according to me, that sweet baby Sarah has still not had a birthday!) We arrived at the Ashlocks house approximately 40 hours after we left our home, exhausted, hungry and though our hosts were too kind to say it, I have a feeling a bit smelly. So, we decided just to take it easy that afternoon. After we got adjusted to our new surroundings and reacquainted with our friends, we ventured outside to play and go for a walk.

This is a little Kitty that lives in their neighborhood. All the animals in Thailand are extremely friendly and the cats behave more like dogs.

EVERYTHING is more colorful here!

And to our desert accustomed eyes, everything looks very green and wet!

Jeremy and Amelia trying out a very popular mode of Thai transportation. These little buggers go everywhere! And look, no helmets! Gotta love the safety laws in a non-litigious society!
