Happy Valentines Day!

We hope that you are all enjoying your Valentines Day! We have had a great day and thought we'd share it with you. My day started at 6:30 this morning. I'm more of a night shift person, so at that time of day I'm actually functioning better if I've not yet been to bed! Jeremy is flying tonight, so I had planned to make him the breakfast of his choice when we returned from Marshall's speech and OT. I had forgotten the croissant portion of his fruit croissant, so we had to make a quick trip to the grocery store before the therapy appt at 0900. We got back home around 10 am and had a lovely Valentines Celebration with Jeremy. He didn't have to leave until noon, so we had a leisurely breakfast, opened a few little trinkets for the kids, exchanged cards and then just enjoyed each others company until he had to go. After that, it was pretty much just a normal Thursday, but the distraction of the morning was very nice. We went to Abby's piano lesson at 3:30, then down to Morehead City for a few things at Walmart. I was willing to take the kids out for dinner so we ended up at their restaurant of choice, McDonalds. That was a bit embarrassing. As I sat there judging all those losers who were sitting at McD's for Valentine's Day dinner I realized that they probably thought the same of me! HEHE! I felt even worse when I realized that we did the same thing for dinner last Valentines Day! (We had spent the day at Sea World and just grabbed a quick dinner after we left.) What does that say, two consecutive Valentines Dinners at McD's! I'd say I'm fairly low maintenance. :)
