When we heard what the weather had in store for us yesterday, we went to church in the morning and then decided we would keep off of the roads while we waited for the big wintery event of the year. I had comfort food ready for the oven. The mugs for hot chocolate were ready to go...
And then it began to snow!
The kids all had fun running in the snow...
and catching it on their tongues.
And in the morning, we got up hoping to have a white yard and this is what we saw:
Rather disappointing, eh?
I suppose I'll console myself with the fact that no shoveling was required.
Especially since we don't own a shovel. :D
(The irony of the only snow collecting on the Mexican chiminea is not lost on me)

Glad you got some snow! We saw lots in Flagstaff and Grand Canyon in December.
