My last Social Committee event at the Yuma church was one of my favorites. Desert Vespers. We switched things up a little bit by going back out to Palm Canyon, a beautiful spot between Yuma and Phoenix.
Lots of yummys to fill our tummies as the sun began to set.
The crowd was quite big for our location being about an hour from the church.

The Souls West group just happened to be in Yuma during the time we had scheduled our desert vespers. Donato was kind enough to provide us with our sermon for the evening.
After the sun went down, Amelia was playing in the rocks and sticks and made this little house.
When it was nice and dark, we packed up our things and headed back to Yuma. The evening was a little bittersweet for me as I knew it was my last social committee event, but it was a nice relaxing way to end.
