Hey, it's in their genes!

The other week we went to a new friend's house after church for lunch and fun! They have 4 children whose ages and genders match perfectly with ours. After a long afternoon of playing both inside AND outside, Mr. Mark decided to fire up his Harley! For those of you who don't know, both my dad and stepmother work for Harley. I, myself, have very fond memories of my dad taking me for rides on his bike. I remember it was fun... I remember yelling "Faster, Faster,Daddy!"... I also remember my dad snickering at my bravado and telling me no, that was fast enough! :) Fun stuff! It was with those memories that I put aside my ER training and allowed my non-leathered, non-helmeted kids on a bike with a man who has managed to keep his 4 alive despite short bike rides. He took them up and down their cul de sac street.

They had a BLAST! Amelia went first and in typical "Amelia" fashion, she laughed the whole way! You could hear her all the way down at the other end screaming with joy. I must admit... I'm a little afraid that we may have started something with her! Marshall and Abby both enjoyed it and were begging for more as well, even if they weren't as vocal. I'm going to include some photos even though the quality is rather poor. I think it's time for a new camera... this one doesn't do well with poor lighting. (hint, hint Jeremy!)

Speed Racer Marshall preparing for the ride of his life!

Always cautious Abby not to be outdone by her siblings gives it a go too!
