Whew... what a weekend we had! We had lots of fun spending time with our friends and hanging out at church. We went to a Fall Festival at our friend Aaron's school. They had a bunch of different booths and activities for the kids. They each came home with a bag of goodies.....pencils, bracelets, stampers and little rubber balls. They even had a few bouncy houses that the kids loved. We went to a Farm Pumpkin Fun Day too. The kids didn't have time to do the things we usually do at the farm. We were too busy painting pumpkins, having our hair painted and pretty face paintings too. We spent time with the kittens though, of course. Poor Abby still got a bit upset at visiting with the little tortoiseshell kitten. She still misses our Chewy who died 2 years ago this month. The little kids had a blast jumping in the hay barn while Abby finished hot gluing her pumpkin. I'll take a picture of her with it tomorrow. We did have a hayride and Kim bought some popcorn still on the cob. It was a fun experiment, but of all five children, Marshall and Amelia were the only ones willing to eat it. Last night we had a sleepover at April's house. Kim and Olivia stayed too, so it was even more fun. We took this cute picture of the five kids and four dogs all snuggled up together. We brought our dog for the sleepover and April was dogsitting the white one who fit right in with the rest. Today we spent all day taking over April's home and playing outside. It was a great weekend and we hope to have another like it soon!
